'78 pinto--no spark
Hey folks, im brand new here. i got a '78 pinto in pretty nice shape. i was given the machine about 7 yrs ago and was able to get it running. but, i stopped using it and am now just getting back to try and get it running again. so far i havent even been able to get a spark. ive replaced the spark plug, followed the wiring around, on/off switch looks intact, checked and cleaned the contacts. i am wondering, should i pull the flywheel off and clean around the magneto? do i need a flywheel puller for this? could it be a condenser? --any way to check this w/o replacing it? thanks for any help. i appreciate it!
