Stupid Puch CDI box question(s)

I'm cobbling together a budget Puch build from spare parts and trying to use stuff I already have in the garage. My question is - is there any way I can use this CDI setup but use this CDI box instead?

I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has done it and if so, which wires went where.

If it's not possible, does anyone have a Pietcard 2041 sitting around?

Re: Stupid Puch CDI box question(s)

Yeah You just have the pietcard option, the other one Will not work. i use a ax100 CDI + high tension coil on my minarelli, it has a nice retarding curve, there are a lot of bigger Two stroke bikes that use these type of boxes (CDI +coil all in one) It should work in Any Two stroke... Its this or a hpi mini rotor sistem wich i cant afford (edited)

If you dont already have it, dont buy that trash ignition party. Those are TERRIBLE stators and break an awful lot or fire every 180*, or just start shitting the bed and acting as a rev limiter. Why not get the Pietcard internal coil and keep a stock flywheel? that would make for a lot less headache and would be more reliable.

This is the coil i talk of https://www.treatland.tv/pietcard-CDI-internal-coil-3055-bosch-puch-p/pietcard-cdi-3055.htm (edited)

If you had read my original post, it says I'm trying to use stuff I already have.

Also, I know a lot of folks say those CDIs are junk but I've got three of them (two being used, one in a box) and have never had any problems. (edited)
