A35 Clutch Washer That Bends

Simon Belmont /

Hey guys, I wanted to ask something, on the A35 there's a nut that holds clutches in place, the thing is even after tightening it, every-time the side cover is removed, that nut is always lose, I've seen a picture that has a washer which can be bent in order to prevent it from loosening:

Anyone knows where I could get a washer like that?

Or can I just use blue loctite instead?

The A3 had the tab washer, not the A35 which has a sort of internal toothed lock washer. Are you torquing the nut to factory specs? Loctite wouldn't hurt, but it shouldn't be coming loose.

Get an exact replacement A35 clutch washer brand new and use it .. buy several because you're supposed to put a new one on every time you take the clutch off. If you don't do that you're asking to chip the splines off your crank shaft .. you'll hear a whine instead of a nice quiet Tomos purr.

Thank you guys for your advise, as I don't have a compatible washer on hand, I'll give blue loctite a try.

Try hardware store.
