NVT EASY RIDER REBUILD!

William Gourniak /

I own an 1977 NVT Easy Rider and I want to completely rebuild it.

What are some compatible parts ?

I clearly have no clue what I am doing!

From the pics of NVT's in the photo gallery, it looks like a Franco Morini motor with a weird clutch cover. What exactly do you want to rebuild? Is the motor locked up?

BTW....we're pretty much neighbors. I'm about 20 minutes from Easton near Hackettstown, NJ. (edited)

pic of bike would help. MO-1's are easier to rebuild than MO-2's

Then take it very slowDoes it really need rebuilding?). Just rebuilding the engine is exacting in the sense you need to get the right replacement parts and replace all the washers and shims/spacers right where they belong.

Get someone to help you or if you're mechanically inclined, get a parts and repair manual if you can find one. don-ohio (:^)
