Possibly the voltage regulator failed, or just a broken connection. I'd start by checking the main ground on the ignition coil, then checking over the work I just did in the headlight. It's possible a connection got loosened or damaged in there and came loose while riding.

If all is well use a multimeter on the AC voltage setting (a cheap-o car parts store discount rack one is fine, or even an 12v test light) between the yellow and black wires coming out of the back of the engine case and up the front of the bike (while the bike is running), you can get to the plug by taking off the front wire cover. See if the coil is still outputting voltage, then You can work Your way out to the voltage regulator from there. Check continuity of the yellow wire that goes to it as well as it's black ground, and how much voltage it's putting out. If that's fine check continuity of all the wiring to the different peripherals as well as their grounds. Here is the wiring diagram, there's a link to the manual in the wiki too: http://www.mopedarmy.com/wiki/Image:Kinetic_wiring_diagram.png
