2 things- torque wrench settings and speedo

2 things

1) What setting should I have my torque wrench on for tightening the top end of an A55. Also the exhaust? last time i sheered them both off!

2) how do I calibrate a streetmate r's speedometer. it will only go to 25 and then it will sit there even if im going like 40 down a hill?

Re: 2 things- torque wrench settings and speedo

I use about 80 inch pounds. Step up the torquing in three steps. Start at 50 inch lbs. I bought a textron 1/4 torque wrench for $40 from amazon. I prefer it to the harbor freight. I compared it to a mac tool and it's dead on.

Take a vice grip to the end of the inner cable as it goes into the speedo and squeeze it more rectangular and see if that fixes the speedo.
