Is this bad?

Brand new airsal and new rings never run. Leaves this streak of oil at the ring gap. Normal?

Re: Is this bad?

Probably a non issue. There is a gap there so it would make sense. Don't worry about it.

Re: Is this bad?

Thanks. Any other opinions?

Re: Is this bad?

Why do you have it assembled dry like that...no bueno

Re: Is this bad?

Yea prob just pulling oil from that puddle up top. How thick is that base gasket?

Re: Is this bad?

What do you mean by dry? I think the base gasket is like .5 mm thick

You should be using a noticeable amount of 2stroke oil on all moving bits. It keeps things safe when first starting up.

Re: Is this bad?

Yeah I'm fairly certain I have enough on there. But I'll be sure to put more on before start up

I'm not sure what he's talking about in being dry.. I see the oil.

As long as you coated everything as you assembled it, you're good. But l can clearly see the oil.

Nuub kit slapping = fail.

It's just oil passing through the ring gap, nothing to worry about
