What is the stock NGK spark plug and gap for a Kreidler MP-19? Thanks.
What is the stock NGK spark plug and gap for a Kreidler MP-19? Thanks.
ngk with the 5 in it.
I'd be more worried about which NGK you're using. An NKG B(whatever)-HS will not work. You need an NGK B(whatever)-ES, the longer reach plug.
I'm kind of surprised that no one here knows what the correct NGK spark plug is for a stock MP-19. Anyone??
It was snowing and i use a bu8H now. Was lazy....running outside..
mine came with a 5-6 stock for heat range.
as far as es or hs.... i forgot.
the fact of the matter is, which ever plug reached correctly, the heat range is 5 or 6.
there is really only a few Kreidler guys here..... (edited)
Standard NGK plug is a B5HS #4210 and has a gap of .025 inch./ or .635 mm.
yaaay.
funny thing is, my stator is off, i just looked under the bike, and POW, a brand new b5HS under the mag on carpet... well bp5hs, but still.
correct kreidler spark plug.
straight from the owners manual
bosch W 175 T 1, beru 175/4, or champion L 86
gapped 0.4mm to 0.5mm. (edited)
Thanks very much for all the assistance.
I've used an NGK B6HS for thousands of miles, for about a year and a half. Works great!
^^^your compression will be too low with an HS plug. Pull your head off with the plug still in it, and you'll see.
This is untrue:

I consulted the manual and according to the conversion chart, the recommended plug is a Champion L 86. The NGK equivalent is a B6HS, what I have been using in mine. Check it out for yourself! Haha.
