question for all you midwest kreidler fans here

I've got a pretty nasty problem with my transmission, on a 1979 MP-9; the gear lock is broken, and needs to be replaced entirely. I have included a pic of a good transmission with the part that is broken on mine circled. (courtesy of google images) Currently, KreidlerOriginal is closed, and given that my ped is my only method of travel (beyond walking), I'd like to try and get the part sooner rather than later. Also, if you have an extra outer transmission gasket, that would be excellent. Any advice, Doug?

Re: question for all you midwest kreidler fans here

Make your own and mind the thickness so you don't get the shifty - shakes.

or pay lots of money overseas to kreidler-jon bos and it comes NoS and new.

I got my clutch pullers and installers there as well as case rebuild set - bearings-seals-everything.

Isn't that the freewheel? How could you have broken that? What exactly is wrong with it?
