Well. I have no clue if people have done this before, But I tried this and it looks like it will work.

First you drill a 1/8 hole in the back. Dose not have to be the whole way through, just till you can get a punch in there and you can see the other side.

Then you punch out this little duder.

And lastly take a 1/4 ball bearing and set it in the hole, fallowed by one quick hammer swing. to get it to snap into the plate, it sits captive. I have heard of this method working, and see people needing new plates, So hopefully this is some help to someone.

Haha, I'll get around to that eventually. I Guess I should have at least washed my hands for you guys. I just got done tearing apart a v1 for a buddy and that was his plate.

Just wear colored rubber gloves, people will subconsciously respect whatever you are doing.
