anyone in the process of rebuilding a derbi pyramid reed/piston port?

Hey folks,

I've got one of the later model piston port motors that has the casting for the pyramid reed valve. It's disassembled and the piston port manual online is for the earlier models - shims don't match up.

Wondering if anyone has one cracked at the moment that would quickly work with me to measure up the shims and placement of them in the internals. I already have a pretty good idea just from feeling things around, but I want to verify my work.

I will send you a package with presents if you are down and it will be good stuff - it won't take long - 10 minute phone call I should think.

not a Baron Asshole /

I am in the same situation, the shims order fell apart after the case was apart. As long as they aren't binding up when you put it together you should be ok. There are a few pics people posted but they don't say because each case/shims are different.
