No where near the qc vs the moped to the motorcycle world your in for a shock of how things can be made cheapest. Since you are the man doing it.. tomos must of thought hard about how get work into the dealers as the old a3 transmissions are super solid and the clutch pads last a lot longer then the new stuff. That's one of the tomos get me work into the shop trick. Always replacing clutch pads, imo.
They make super duper stronger clutch springs for the tomos but there not fun to install, no matter. If you can balance the clutch bells it will help but there new stock.. so can't do anything, I guess.
