Changing a Motobecane condenser

Seems pretty straightforward...ish, but anything in particular to look out for that I could inadvertently royally fuck up in the process? Had a 1980 condenser on it that finally died, got a new one from Treats and am ready to do this.

you can take the whole stator off and do it right or

you can use a rebar pliers and rip the sucker out after disconnecting it from the points. as a note the wire from the condensor that runs under the point set should be replaced. my condensor ended up just fine, it was that wire pinched, that was causing all the symtoms of a faulty condensor.
