stupid question about flywheel...

the moped is a 1976 garelli eureka flex:

i have to take off my flywheel to clean the points and condenser, but it wont come off... i un-screwed the one nut in the middle and it wont move what else do i do to take it off. also any tips for cleaning the points and condenser well?

1. Removing the flywheel.

I would highly recommend getting a flywheel puller, but I just like collecting tools. You can also try to heat it up and/or give it a couple good blows with a rubber mallet.

2. condensers don't get or require any cleaning, AFAIK.

3. You can clean the points without removing the flywheel by reaching through those holes in the flywheel. I think you're supposed to use very fine grit sandpaper(like 300+)

you need the correct flywheel puller...buy or borrow one...

I just use a rubber mallet and give a few soft whacks... But then I replaced my magneto side crank bearings. hmm....
