I haven't even looked at it yet, but I know my buddy needs a new bushing for his swingarm. Would this be a simple thing to fabricate out of common materials?
Wiki/search didn't turn up much of anything.

I have *no* idea what they look like, but I've had good luck getting stuff like bushings and bearings matched up at the NAPA machine shop off of 28th St. by the airport.
If they aren't a weird size you can probably get silicon bronze bushings from mcmaster carr.
It's just a bushing. Measure, and take the measurements to your local bearing store.
Thanks dudes. I didn't realize how simple it was until after I first posted. Better to get a good-fitting bushing instead of jamming some random material in its place.
Bumping this thread since I am searching for swingarm bushings for my MP build.
The dimensions should be as follows:
ID: 14mm
OD: 17mm
Length: 24mm
eBay Germany seems to have plastic / brass sets for sale for under $20 shipped. I contacted a few different sellers to see if they would ship to the US.
When searching, use the word "buchsen" or "buchse" in place of bushing, and "mofa" or "MP" to designate Kreidler MP moped.
What about drilling this out to 14mm?

Cause fuck plastic bushings. Put these in my Garelli and the rear is so stiff and safe feeling now. It's great. (edited)

I did have to sand the bushings OD some to get them to press in to the ssxl. I think the tube is 16mm ID or something. 17mm was a hair too big.

Not a problem. I can chuck em up and turn em down.
Yep that's what I did. But with a disk sander lol
WAY better than the plastic bushings that took 5 weeks to come from India
