Seems like some rather obvious shit, but I'm going to be replacing my brakes and inside these hubs its just a filthy mess. just years of buildup. So before I just use anything, anyone have any tips?

dremel with a very fine sanding wheel, and lots of brake cleaner
I just de-glaze everything with some coarse grit sand paper. Then wipe everything clean.

tips...wear safety glasses, you don't wanna get any brake cleaner in your eyes

brake parts cleaner and some 220 grit to ruff up and smooth away bumps
