I got a 79 PA50II, I was curious, i'm trying to remove the CARB to replace with a new one, do i need to take frame off to get to it? I'm not seeing any other way.

Read the wiki dude.
no you dont, some times poeple are dicks to newbies on here. There is tons of info on this site just takes time to learn how to nav this site. good luck
Being a dick by telling him to read the wiki? There's a damn tutorial about the question he posted. Read the wiki. All the info you need is in there.
Undo the throttle cable from the carb, undo the spark plug boot, unhook the decomp from the head, take out the 17mm bolt near the bottom of the tank, lift the front wheel onto a shortish bucket, remove carb.
Brain knows his stuff, if you have a question to re phrase it.
Yes the wiki , but..... Follow Scouts directions and I'll add one thing, the carb comes out easiest buy removing the screws or bolts that secure the intake and then remove the carb and intake together(as one unit).
Oh, yeah, also replace those 4 screws with 10mm hex head bolts m6 1.0 pitch.
