I have been studying the exploded diagram of the Sachs clutch and I think I understand how it works now. If I am missing something here someone please be kind enough to steer my brains in the right direction.
So when the clutch bell starts spinning the centrifugal clutch AKA the donut (clutch part 20 in the manual) presses down on the metal plate closest to it (part #15) compressing the spring washer which allows the fiber plates (external plate part #17) to engage the other metal plates?
I am having a little clutch slippy issues on the hills and off the line. I'm assuming that replacing the fiber plates will help clear that up a bit.
