Ok, so I finally got my moped up and running, and it worked beautifully for approximately 1.5 days. I started it up today, and it was running good, then all of a sudden it started dying on me constantly, but only when I had it going as fast as it could be (after a while of flat land, always stalled down hills).
Now, what is causing this? Its been driving me crazy
When it stalls when you're going down hills -- are you going full throttle, or are you going downhill without giving it any throttle, or what? My two guesses would be that either you're running your float bowl out of gas at top speed or that it's overheating and soft seizing at top speed.
I'm generally giving it gas, because it doesn't coast very well
Have you done a full throttle plug chop? Or what's your plug look like when it dies (wet/dry)? Do you have spark when it dies?
