I have a Peugeot Angel.
Your motor looks awfully alot like it!
The clutch and belt drive look alike too, but as I can't remember for sure, I will stop by the shed tomorrow and snap a few shots of it. I'd be willing to part with some stuff, maybe, as my Angel's pretty rough, and yours is way cool!
I'd rather see the beauty run, and my ogre could maybe be left to rest.
If not, eventually I'll get to that one too.
I'm working on a bunch of them all of a sudden, but lately my red and white Allstate's needed a tiny bit of affection. Last night I was working on it 'til after 4am. I got it done, and rode her home though! I had the transmission open, and cleaned it all up perdy-like, replaced the clutch discs out from another parts motor, and a few other little maticulous items. Gave me a chance to make a gasket and stop my nasty leak I've had all summer. It was SO worth it, as it's not leaked a drip, since; and I rode a bunch of gravel road today.
What rim-size are those tires?
I think you better stay with the original silver if ya re-paint it.
If I don't post back here by Saturday morning, email me and light a torch under my butt! I should be able to do it. I think the carb I have mounts like that one once did. It's dirty, but there. I don't have spark, but I do have compression.
I will return.
ps Here's a shot of my precious oldy. I ride it many miles daily. -dz
