ball bearings in clutch

so i post something about an hour earlier about having trouble getting my bike running and i got a couple really nice responses telling me to clean the carn which i had already done and have done again since but...

since that really did not help i was looking for other possible problems and i opened up my clutch to find that one of the springs and ball bearings in the running clutch was missing (the ones that press up against the clutch cover) and i am thinking that this may be my problem. could this missing spring/bearing keep the clutch from engaging therefore keep the motor from running?

and if so where can i find a replacement spring/bearing?

also sorry if i got some of the terminology wrong please bear with me as i am constantly learning
