Any PA50 pros out there?
I need to figure out how to grease my back pulley.
Does anyone have any expertise? A search on the topic didn't bring up anything meaningful.
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks Jim,
I have the manual and am pretty experienced. But, I can't figure it out.
Where is JoeW when you need him?
All the book says to do is " grease the driven pully spring"
This does not make sense. Why would you have to grease the spring?
The inside face moves in and out when the variator does its thing like when the front does its thing. The face runs on a sleeve bearing that could use some grease. I have never had mine apart. Maybe some of the 90w oil weeps past the oil seal and lubes it enough.
To take it apart you need the special Honda pullers.
Yup. Special pullers, or a lot of time two strap wrenches and and two vice grips.
Not something I am really looking forward to, you know?
Thanks Silver.
I will try and throw some 90 down near the spring. Last thing I wanna do is pull that pulley off again.
Matt
Yeah, and as you probably already know -
DON'T GREASE THE PULLEY FACES!
(just for those out there that haven't done this before)
uhhh... yeah.
Got any intel on how to get it in without getting it off?
