OK, thought that it might be a fuel thing, but it is not. When Im riding sometimes my sachs will just sputter and die. No waring, just does it. Could it be overheating? Wonder if it is the plug, and what plug should I run in this thing? I know it is getting fuel. Please any advise is great.

does the bike start right up after stalling? If so it could be the float. Th sachs bing carb has a small black plastic pin that pushes into the bown making the float move.. maybe you have some crap in the bowl. I have a sachs on one of my generals and it did that once to me

Nope, once it stalls, I can forget about trying to start it for a few hrs.

I have this exact same problem with on of my peds sachs. It could possibly be the condensor. I just bought one, Ill put it in and let you know.
