does anyone know a quick fix, or where to find the part that goes between the engine and the exhaust pipe? it looks like a little piece of rubber, like a ring.
for a quick fix i was thinking of sealing off that crack by putting a can around it and putting O-clamps on each side. would that be a bad idea?
you mean the gasket between the header pipe and the muffler ,if so it looks like you could rap some wood stove gasket around it and tighten it up,you can get the stuff at any hardware store peaceup Dan
yeah, that little rubber piece. i came up with a quick fix, and that was wrap up the open area with a coke can and use o-clamps to hold it in place. other than being ugly with that have any negative effects on my engine? does there need to be any exhaust there?
