i need to know what this cable does, because when i got it the handle was broke, and this is where the cable enters the engine and i dont know what it is.
i think it is to engage the engine??
or a clutch?

Yeah, you need it. When you pedal you pull that lever and it opens a small valve in the head so that it will start easier and it also engages the clutch so that the engine will spin and fire up. When it starts, you let go of the handle and you're ready to roll.

Brys right. I have replacement parts or can adjust the clutch- I'm 1 hr away in Harltand, WI.
