Also read Fred's Guide at the top of that page for tips on tuning, adjusting, fixing and cleaning and general restoration.

My advice is to get that bike in perfect stock tune and in top shape before seriously considering any performance modifications.. Search and read up on the subject.

any monkey can bolt stuff onto a bike, but if you want to understand what it's all about read something like
