Hi, I own a Peirspeed Cheetah XS that I bought last October. I can not get it to start. It has less than 600 miles on it. I've bought a new spark plug, battery, and checked the fuse. The engine still will not turn over. It has plenty of gas and oil. Does anybody have any suggestions on what else to check? Thanks a lot.

Is this a moped or a scooter?
When you say that it will not "turn over" do you mean that the engine will crank on an electric starter but not start?
Have you checked all the wiring to ensure that all circuitry is OK?
It is a scooter. Sorry if it the wrong forum to ask this question. That is correct. It will crank on the electric starter, but it won't start. I've also tried to kick start it, but it still will not work. I really don't know anything about the wiring of it, so I wouldn't know if that is OK. Is there anything relatively simple to check? Thanks again for your help.
A lot of newer equipment has a run/stop switch on the handlebar. Have you checked it?
Have you pulled your sparkplug and checked it for a nice spark when you are cranking the engine?
Yes, mine has a switch and it is in the correct position. I replaced the old spark plug even though it had a spark and I confirmed the new one had one also. I don't know what else to check.
squirt some Starter Fluid in there.. if it starts, ignition is ok but the fuel system has a problem.
I tried starter fluid and it didn't work either....
i have 2 cheetahs.. they have a bad habbit of clogging the carbs up when they sit. Also US models are restricted to 35mph but they will do 50mph if you change the front clutch.
I just bought a cheetah and my bro wrecked it. He ran it straight into a pole, istill can't figure out how he pulled that off but if anybody knows where I could get parts that would be great or I might be willing to sell mine for the good parts. I straightened the front end the best I could and it works but it's not 100%
For right price, I may be able to buy 'parts scooter'. How much U want?
