Any tips on rebuilding a 77' Honda NC50 tranny?

I'm new to these automatic trannys on the Express, and was wondering if it is possible to rebuild them without any specialty tools and/or knowlage of CVT's. Also, does anybody know where I can find replacement parts for the rebuild (gaskets, clutches, bands, etc.)?

not a CVT on the express. just a one speed and a centrifical clutch. My local dealer can get most parts I've needed, but I haven't torn into a tranny.

Don't open up the starter spring unless you aboslutely have to. It's seriously dangerous.
