So, would anyone care to share where they have their Idle Screw set?(How many 360 degree turns from screwed all the way in is it screwed out?).
My moby will not Idle properly, runs like a champ as long as the throttle is open..but I want to be able to stop at a stop light...
Also: Anyone wanna share what type of spark plug they take(want spares).

Ok, it probably is not the idle screw,
It is probably a clogged idle circuit, or a sticky clutch.

dan, it is not a clogged idle circuit...put some carb cleaner through the circuit and nothing...sticky clutch: how to fix?
Try about 1-1/2 turns out.
What oil are you using in the gearbox? It might be too heavy causing drag.
no idea what oil i am using...
Drain what is in there and re-fill with what the instruction manual says to use.
Mobies do not have oil, or a gear box. So it cant be that

If you tighten the idle screw all the way, does it idle at a stop?

The idle circut is ok, carb is clean as it's going to get. I was the one doing the carb work. Ran Carb cleaner though everything and 100psi air. Someone had mentioned crank seals as being a possible cause, how would one go about checking that.
ed helped big time...it almost sounds like a sticky clutch though...since it dies when the tire stops....will do the sand paper on saturday.

Yeah, the only time we did get it to idle was when the clutch did free up. The bike runs well otherwise. I can't really see it being a carb issue.
Once you get it running, the puch mobylette drag race is on!
