I'm not getting spark on my Grande - it seems that the electricity is making it to the ignition coil, but not enough to cause it to spark. So I'm tracing each connector one by one.
There's a blue wire that comes from the stator plate, and that shows how much electricity the magneto is generating (from what I can tell). That immediately goes out and to the rear taillight, then turns into a green wire and comes back. The blue wire is giving a max of about 42 on my multimeter (with hand-turning the engine), but the green coming back is about a 9 or so.
The wire seems to be in good shape. I tried a different taillight housing as well as hardwiring the two wires together with no luck. I'm new to electrical systems so not sure exactly what to look for now. Should I start by replacing that green wire?
