Hey, on the throttle assembly, there should be a little Turn Tensionor. To the left of the thottle, behind your right break lever tensioner. Turn it left i believe and it should pull more on the throttle cable. turn it right and it should pull less on it, if its all the way in and u need less idle, remove the peice completely, and adjust the cable with the screw.

It doesn't idle at all, just revs high, or just dies, or....?

tighten your intake manifold bolts. as long as the choke opens up when you go full throttle, the cable is adjusted fine. but if the idle speed is to low, there is a screw on the side of the carb. you turn this screw inward to increase idle, outward to slow it down. correct idle speed is, the fastest idle speed you can set it at with the rear tire just barely turning and turning slow enough that you can stop it by hand.
