kinetic TFR -- how replace gear oil and air flter?

Hi,

I have a 2003 Kinetic TFR and a couple of questions.

How do you drain the gear oil when you need to change it? I pulled the fill plug to check the level, and there seemed to be plenty in there as some leaked out.

Next, how do you chnage the air filter? Do you have to remove that plate on the bottom?

Thank you.

To drain gear oil tip bike on side and watch gas run out also or take off rear wheel. Watch out for your fingers on the belt that you do not pinch them.

The air filter will come off the top side but it is very tricky to get the right alignment to get it out and back in.

REMOVE THE SHOCK BOLTS AND THE REAR WHEEL WILL DROP DOWN . IT WILL GIVE YOU PLENTY OF ROOM TO GET AT AIR FILTER AND CARB. THIS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD IF YOU WANT TO TRY IT.
