I just got a '85 Honda Aero 50 and I am trying to get it up and running, I drained the oil and gas, replace the spark plug and battery, cleaned the fuel lines and the carburator. The moped will start but will die within a few seconds, if I put a little gas in the spark plug chamber it will run for a minute or so. If I get the moped started I can keep it running only if I constantly give throttle and let go. It will die if I keep giving it throttle or try and let it idle. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem may be, I think that it might be a problem with the carburator but I am not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am about to give up on the thing.
