I installed and ran the Parmakit about 700km ago and just recently the engine siezed. I pulled the kit apart and surprisingly, the piston shattered in three places. I was only running around 45-50m/h when this happened. I was NOT full throttle and I had plenty of oil in the tank as well as the injector. What would cause this to happen? Is the Parmakit a mediocre upgrade?

AJ, i don't know about the quality of the kit but did the instructions say to add oil to the fuel during the break-in period and did you follow rhe low speed break-in instructions? If so you may have a claim against the warranty. Jim.
Perhaps your oil injector failed?
Thats why I hate oil injection, you don't know it isn.t working until its too late. Jim.
