Re: 1978 peugeot 103 chain

Hey, Double (or anyone!) -

Does anyone know just what the numbers "4-1-5" stand for when referencing shains?

Re: 1978 peugeot 103 chain

never heard of it .. or anything similar as far as chain specifications. Where yousee that?

Re: 1978 peugeot 103 chain

It's not a 415. Peugeot chains are a nonstandard size. Try a moped shop.

Being a Peugeot owner, i understand finding parts issues. if you want to be able to use a #415 chain, u would need to change the gears to match, otherwise you will strip the gears or the chain will snap(most likly breaking something else). so if you are trying to get a replacement chain, u need to contact a moped shop.

where does one find a moped shop? :c

Re: 1978 peugeot 103 chain

All I own is French bikes and YES 415 works perfectly. This one works, but if you can get longer then do that just for fucksakes.
