simple circuit really.positive wire from the charging coil to the flasher relay, from there to the switch. then from the switch you will have to leads, one must go to each side of the bike for that sides signals. then the remaing terminals on the signals all come together as one wire which returns to ground.

Re: need a basic turn signal circuit using a relay

i was gonna build a 555 timer circuit but i thought there had to be a more simple application...SO...i need to get a flasher relay and run it off a positive wire...thats all?

donp you might as well just come down here and build this bike, you have answered every question i'v had . thank for your help.

You ALL work TOO hard!

Just go down and get the 6-volt lantern bulb with the flasher BUILT into the bulb!

Hook the front and back bulb in parallel for each side, and you're done!

There-wasn't that simple?

lol

flasher relays are hard to find but useing a 555 timer is not a bad idea

flasher relays are hard to find???????????

wal-mart, k-mart, meijers, and every auto parts store carries them.

not hard to find here

see pic----i am building a circuit box for which will hope fully enable me to run some good fog lamps on my ped....the flasher circuit is in the box.
