Although the ratio of fuel and oil may be different for different manufacturers of two strokes the procedure for mixing the fuel is pretty much the same. Tat is why it doesn't hurt look at other manuals, you may find the correct way to mix the oil and gas.
Personally, I like to use a oil or gas container. That way I know that the materials that are used will not deteriorate from the gas. I have used some plastics and they have disintegrated from the gas, sort of like melted and leaked all over.
Those gallon oil containers are nice, they have graduations, in liters and quarts on the side. I put in the measured amount of oil then add about a half quart of gas, then stir it around to really mix up the oil with the gas. Then I add the rest of the gas and stir it some more. If you store it in the oil container you need to leave the cap on loose so it can vent.
