engine in 1978 sears free spirit

hey guys, i just came into a pretty nice 1978 sears free spirit. word on the street is that sears mopeds from that era had puch engines. does anyone know that for sure? also could you tell me if it is a one horse or two horse?

From everything I see the whole ped is made by Puch. Should be a plate on the fork yoke that will say made in Austria. Puch used a 1 hp, 1.5hp and a 2 hp engine. I do not know if all three were used on the Sears brand. Correct me if I am wrong but the output drive sprocket was different sizes based on the engine size. 18 teeth on the 2 hp, a 16 or 15 tooth on the 1.5hp and 13 or 14 on the 1 hp.
