Hi...I am told by my sweet mechanic friend to ask if they ever improved the braking system of a Puch Maxi...
Mine aren't so great...even after an adjustment.
Is there someone I can call?

They aren't the hottest brakes when dirty. What I did was disassmbled the brake assy from the wheel, removed the
build up deposits and cleaned the brake segments w/ brake cleaner. On the other hand because I wanted to repack the bearings anyway, you could try to spray the drum brake package, pull out the rubber inspection plugs for access.
