puch clutch start arm ??

i am having a hard time getting the clutch start arm back on to the return spring.anybody know how to get it back on the right way??

Once made a tool for that, let me look 4 it. Will post a pic if found.

thanks .it looks like i can push the spring back, with a screwdriver, but i will wait for a few more replys.

Can't find that darn special plier must have left somewhere on a job. Sorry, I would have loaned out.

Bernard, could you describe how that tool worked or looked like? I guess I'll go try to get it with a screwdriver in the meantime.

Made from a piece of flat bar stock, two petruding pins to lever the arm. Also used to preload a tension arm on a robot.

I think what happened is the tool and two 3mm wide cone wrenches were removed from my toolkit at a job at a Detroit plastic factory. People like weird stuff.
