ok i redid all the cables today and had a hard time starting the ped
i took out the spark plug and tested to see if i was getting spark
im getting spark and the engines running
but
the spark is white
i heard it should be blue
how do i fox this?
maby ill clean the points then set them next weekend
also
when i give it full throttle the ped starts to dies down to in idle like its gunna stall but it does not
whats wrong???

With the choke down, press the tickler for one count, start let her warm up a little turn the throttle fully releases the choke it should run. White or blue spark as long as it sparks you're ok...
well the engine runs and idle great but at full throttle it wants to die

Is the choke plate hooked up right. The plate activating pin (set choke) should come way out again. U can try it without the engine on. Crank the grip all the way up you'l see the pin move up too.
yea ive oped my carb many times and im sure its all togeather right
the choke opens when i give it throttle
mady its just a bit low on gas
well its getting cold out
maby ill just run it till it dies and clean out the carb good then pack it into the shead for the winter
i havent even been riding it much cuz school and work now
all i get is a weekend for free time
White or blue spark is OK, red or orange is not.
Have you checked the air box and exhaust pipe/port for blockage? Is fuel flowing freely from the petcock?
If you've changed the air box and/or exhaust, you may be running too lean and need to change to a larger jet.
You might check for air leaks around where the carb mounts to the intake tube and where the intake tube mounts to the engine. Spray a *little* WD40 around the connections, if the engine speed changes (or it stalls), you've found a leak.

not sure but i found the problem
just needed to make a new gasket for under the carb.
by the way whats a dry, black spark plug mean?

i made a gasket for under the carb and forgot that the hole is bigger on the cylinder head
i cut out using that 90 degree bend intake thing as a guide
so i made the hole a little bigger and it fixed it
