Hey I was wondering if any one here could give me some ideas to what might be wrong with my scooter. It's a Honda Elite 1992 150 cc's. You see, it got wrecked. I can get it to turn on but it doesn't want to start. This seems like it would be aminor repair, so I am trying to hold off on taking it to the shop. If anyone has experiece with this type of scooter please give me any hints you can. Thanks Chelsea
does it turn over? Does it mumble like it wants to start?
take the spark plug out, put it into the spark plug wire, and touch it to the head while you turn it over- look for a blue spark

Bernard- yeah, it is a moped site- but the engine mechanics of mopeds and scooters are basically the same

Yes, you'r right Nick I may need some scooter help SOME day. Just ment that she goes to the correct site. I was in a place were they had one on consignment sale, I fell for it like a blind roofer.. Unless I plunk down the 1500 smackers for a almost new pristine ITALJET big bad scooter, first have to sell some of my peds... and get a license!
