Gas leak on Carb - Batavus HS-50

I was cleaning the carb on my 77 Batavus HS-50. After I reassembled all of the components, I noticed a gas leaking from the float chamber top cover. The gaskets seemed to be in good condition and all of screws were tightened.

The float is in good condition (no holes). Is this a problem with gas not getting past the float to the bottom of the float chamber??

Any thoughts?? Thanks

if it has the encarwi carb, chances are you have the float installed upside down. the tapered end faces up into the carb top.

I did this same mistake on my frist one ( float upside down )

There is a small hole on the top of the carb and sometimes it is getting clogged.
