Read "Fred's Guide" in the 'Resources' section.
just be sure to get actual compression numbers and not go by the thumb trick when checking compression.
most likely your carb needs to be cleaned out and things like the head bolts and intake manifold need to be torqued down. head bolts are 10 ft/lbs.
yes......sounds like it's starved for fuel.But ALWAYS try a new spark plug anyway. Check that the petcock filter in the tank isn't plugged and the banjo filter on carb is not dirty, and do the carb cleaning like DonP says, and read Fred's guide. don-ohio
