I need a shop manual for a 1975 Honda PC50 4 stroke.
Smokes a bit.
The clutch is sticky - wont disengage, even at idle - and doesn't seem to fully engage - seems to start to "slip", even when going up gentle grades.
Just acquired this 'ped, need a place to start. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Close, but no cigar. None of those models have the same setup. Those are the classic Honda 2-strokes - mine is an oddball 4-stroke (of course), with hard-to-find parts and info. I'm even having a hard time finding tires!

how much different is the pc50 from the p50? both are 4 strokes.

I have very little info on this type of moped. The manual you have provided the first page of - the p50 manual - would be a great starting point - but I can't find it, either!
The site referenced in the first post has four manuals - all for 2 strokes. I don't see any at dratv.com. If you could point me to where you found it, I would greatly appreciate it.

the p50 manual is the very last one in the bottom of the list on the mopedriders.org site. there is no dr atv.com. its just the name used in the link. the name of the business is beatrice cycles. he is an old honda parts dealer. here is the hyperlink again.
just click on it and it should just open up to the page.

I already went to all those places, and I'm senile too!
The good news is - the clutch setup on the P50 looks similar to the setup on the PC 50. The piston and rings are probably the same. Everything else about the P50 is different.
Still can't figure out why my clutch seems to be dragging at idle, though.
Now - to locate part numbers and parts...
And Tires! Still can't find any.
