if you can get it for $50 or less, i owned an express and they are JUNK.. there are at lest 10 fore sale on ebay daily....
thats the one luckly i live in wisconsin and my papa can give me a ride to pick it up
so it works but there is no carb... did it just fall off or take a walk?
Id say yes buy it. the carb isnt very difficult to install at all, if u can put oil and gas in it then u should be able to install the carb
If you decide not to get it, I own one and am interested in purchasing another one. Let me know if you want to sell it or if you can pass the contact information to me. Thanks. Good luck if you do decide to get it. They can be a lot of fun, but quirky at times.

Whenever i look for them, there is normally only like one for sale but they are in like new york or something, way too far for me.
i own an 81 and put 2k+ miles on it over summer. Will haul 33 mph all terrain all hours of day any weather any length of time you can ride it. Gas milage to tank size isnt good but its ok. i got 34-40 miles to a tank. Puttin carb on is a matter of two bolts and lifting it up, carb mostly was taken off cause it was plugged and never got back to it. Make sure it isnt seized, with open intake it may be. 77-80 are known for windup problems but they ok.
