I know this is a long shoot but I’m looking for an ignition for an ds50. When I turn mine on it crosses the ignition and ground. Pretty sure I’m the first person to open up this dash and that it’s all wired 100% as it should be based on looking at a wiring diagram.
The eternal search for this ignition switch is now my problem since I bought this bike. So I am bumping this thread.
Try handy bikes in Ohio, they sold them and sold out their stock, I believe it all was bought by Vespa of Chicago , and saw a crate of parts here in Michigan, but that was 18 years ago. Hope this helps you start looking.

1987 Derbi DS50
I found one. I had to take the whole derbi to get it but that’s ok since I love these things. However I’d love to find another CEV 7 Pin switch for my parts bike. (I did do a work around on the switch for the parts bike that I picked up from Treats!)
I used one of these that I got from treats.on my “rough” Derbi and I am installing the factory switch on my MINT Derbi. But bumping this thread, because I’m still looking for one original CEV 7 pin (edited)
You sure its a CEV? It looks like a Zadi 7 pin. I'm also looking for one.
I would almost even want your old one, I need the tumbler and keys not the switch.
Yeah. It’s def CEV. I found a work around with the switch pictured above from treats. pm me if you need any details
