Selling this beautiful Batavus as it's just too small for me. Fully serviced and ready to ride. Treats small port 70cc kit, Polini head and 15mm intake. New reeds and a sha 15 15. Stock derestricted motor. Runs great and hits 40 quickly. More to go with a pipe. Everything works. Located in Little Falls NY. If you're in ny it will come with papers for a transferable registration. Outside NY will receive a bill of sale. Price is $2000. I will consider partial trades with cash. Email is best. Does it have a pipe? What is the mileage?

Thanks John, beautiful bike!

Thanks Greg! It currently has a stock derestricted pipe. I wrote motor in the post by mistake. A little over 3000 on the whole bike but under 100 on the upgrades.

Re: 1981 Batavus Grand Prix $2000

Wow that is incredibly clean!

Could you tell me what all this this means I don’t understand what you’re saying?

Re: 1981 Batavus Grand Prix $2000

Its funny cuz I got a sachs one and I doubt I'd get 500 for it. But not as a dig on yours, it's totally worth that, I just laugh at how undesirable a sachs can make something

I can see how a Peugeot version would be far superior, but I would absolutely love to have a clean Sachs Grand Prix

I think he means 3000 miles on the bike and 100 miles on the upgraded parts.

yup

Re: 1981 Batavus Grand Prix $2000

I’ve never actually seen a Sachs Grand Prix in real life, just a pic. I had a Peugeot one. Such small fun bikes. One of my best moped memories is ripping that bike over the Golden Gate Bridge

Re: 1981 Batavus Grand Prix $2000

I still haven't ridden mine, its got a dumb project motor right now. 103 is a much better setup but gripshift would be fun. Sachs has issues but not worthy of how bad a rap it gets

Re: 1981 Batavus Grand Prix $2000

Good luck with the sale John. I'd be all over this if I wasn't selling off my collection. You always have great stuff. I still have the original Puch logo saddlebags you sold me about a year ago sitting in the garage in the plastic wrap - haha.

I saw one at my first moped rally, Ghost Ride 3? 4? I had no idea what it was, or who was riding it, really wish I knew.

We split off from the bar Saturday night, went and ripped around downtown Gr, I remember him doing burn outs while I struggled to keep up on my first kitted Tomos that had just lost the baffle on my Estoril, it is truly a core memory.
