I got this bike and it was seized from sitting. I freed up the piston, then saw it had no spark. I cleaned the points and grounded the brake light wire and it has amazing spark now. I cleaned the carb and now it runs too.
The good:
It runs
Tank is not bad at all
Complete, including all side covers and carb airbox (not pictured cause I had just cleaned the carb before taking the pics)
A lot for the chrome is in very nice shape
The bad:
Needs new brakes and tires
Seat is missing foam and cover
Rear wheel is pretty rusty
Needs work on wiring the lights (light switch is missing the top and mounting/ground strap)
Runs like it has an air leak (maybe I just didn't tighten the carb down, I dunno man I don't want to work on this thing)
Unknown condition of internals - I never opened it up but there was no oil in the trans when I started working on it so I threw some in there. Maybe a PO ran it out of oil, who knows.
Handlebars are crooked, they're quill stem so you'll have to loosen the bolt and twist em
