FS: built Puch e50 with stroker 44mm crank and 70cc Reed kit

Built and ran this on a magnum.

Mint bottom end that I ran through my ultrasonic cleaner before assembly. This is a 99% plug and play ripper setup for those who just want to get riding. No carb included (had this vm20 and filter for 12 years and do not want to sell it) but it will come with everything else.

Naturally this deal is not for everybody on here since most of us enjoy building engines/bikes and paying as little as possible to do so. This is a option for the other peeps. Enjoy!!!

I need to get back to selling bikes if a motor goes for 6 bills...

Totally fair price counting just the components : e50, stroker crank, bearings, seals, kit, head reed cage, intake, carb, filter etc are over 5 bills and assembly as well as testing which testing is key to a rebuild! It blows away sending out your engine to be rebuilt only to get it back and it doesn’t work right.

So this is a very good deal but it’s fun for me to do my own stuff so GLWS

Re: FS: built Puch e50 with stroker 44mm crank and 70cc Reed kit

Killer deal, parts alone are worth that.

Re: FS: built Puch e50 with stroker 44mm crank and 70cc Reed kit

Yea, I added parts up and it leaves about $150 for the cases/gears/clutch bell. Pretty reasonable from that perspective.

So if someone is on the fence, this makes financial sense if it’s the setup they want and they have the ability to tune a carb/pipe combo.

Re: FS: built Puch e50 with stroker 44mm crank and 70cc Reed kit

Yep I agree this is a good deal, although why is the plastic still on the head?

So when I do this setup I typically run the plastic on as another method to gage how hot the engine is running. Also it lets me keep the metal cleaner for longer too since I got dirty hands most the time ;)

thanks for the positive comments dudes. I could toss this on the engine shelf next to the other built engines I own but that’s not any fun. Just wanted to see if anyone wanted this to save some time and get riding! Turns out that’s the case. This is now pending!

That’s wild, I figured it would have melted! Also it’s impressive that the temps have stayed so low considering the lack of airflow through the head/cylinder fins.

Interesting 🤔

Thought it would melt at a lower temp.

I would have paid extra when I bought the vespa leg shields. If you sent me some Rainier beer or some Olympia. Beers of my youth.

Haha man I would of sent them if I had em at the time! Life is good when your sipping on a nice ice cold ranyee! Went to the local store last weekend and saw them, usually I can only find em in the Pacific Northwest. Since no rally’s I’ve been doomed to none at all since that is my Seattle treat! So when I went to the store with the lady to get lunch I could not help myself. I cleaned em out then purchased a propane Weber bbq for $10 that I “restored” that same afternoon. Life is good haha.

Also used bbq paint on a bbq for the first time in my life.

For the shrink wrap I cut a good chunk out of the top and bottom so it cools, I’m no scientist so I can’t say when it melts but this has been my method for years. Anyway this engine is sold and now on its way to the new owner! Bye bye!!! (edited)
